So Long

Things have been sooo crazy since our launch of our business. We have had incredible success but to be honest it really has been too much it seems like.  I guess that's like asking a blessing to be taken back so that's not really good! What I mean to say is things have gone great but  it's been so busy that I have neglected my family, our home, my gospel duties, motherly duties, wife duties, and simply neglected time for myself.  Now don't get me wrong I enjoy doing crafts and better yet selling them to make a bit extra on the side but to be honest that is not what we're looking for.  We had been doing so good in everything else then something comes along and takes our eyes off the road.

It's kind of funny I was just reading a talk (don't remember the apostle/prophet that said it) it was saying how we should not be out there looking for money to leave the desires and they'll come to you.  We'll have many blessings if we accomplish our primary tasks.  Along with that mothers working.  I mean Al and I have had many discussions about not working out of home... but what happens about mothers working in home? Any thoughts on this?

We thought that if you have work you can't devote all of your time to your children or your spouse.  Your not giving your family 100% it's spilt between your family and work.  We also talked about working in home is a positive because you can get up and take care of your children when they need you and only work on projects when they are taking naps or have bedtime.  But what happens when you work as hard as you would be out of the house in the home. Then your going backwards!!  IN our case  this is what happened.  Our hobbies came first for a moment.  We where struggling keeping orders up and giving Zoey Jane our attention.  Both of our attitudes where ready to burst any moment and the house.... OH MY GOODNESS don't even go there.  I believe EVERY dish was used.  Our pantry still looks like a tornado hit it and simply Zoey Jane was crying for our attention.  I am proud to say that  we stopped orders sat down and talked.  Our home is still getting put back together I've had time to relax and breath and so has Alex.  Our baby Zoey Jane is laughing and smiling right now and so are we.  I shouldn't care about a business ruling my life all my life I have wanted to be a mother, a homemaker, a scraping designer.  I know I am but that will not come in between me and my family again it's simply NOT worth it to me!!

Now this does not mean we are stopping we want to do this it's fun but not to the point that it takes our lives over.  We have a system running and to be honest it has been GREAT! I"m happy for other mothers that can do it all yeay for you!! We all have different lives, something for me maybe a trial for you and the other way around I'm just happy we as a couple put things straight before it made such a big differnce in our lives.

On the 15 of October when she was on her tummy she got up on her knees.... now she just needs to know what to do with her hands!!  Also on the 14th of Octoer, she began to roll over.  She rolled over 3 times on that day!! She's getting so big so fast!!

CRAFT NIGHT PROJECTS!!

Ok So this is one of the projects I will have on Craft night. This is a halloween advent calander for those that want to make this project on Oct 7 please let me know so I can print off the numbers for you. You need to bring your own paper. I used 12x12 sheets you don't have to use them to make the project except for the tree you need a 12x12 brown or black sheet of paper if you want one this size if not you can bring whatever size to fit wherever you want to put it. This would look cute on a fridge or a metal board like this!! You don't have to make the same characters that I have you can make all sorts of different characters I have a die cutting machine that will cute these figures.!! This is a more in depth project so it may take more then the 2 hours we'll have
This is an easier advent calander all you need is whatever 12x12 paper you want to fit this calander together. I have glitter the glue and ALL the stamps to go along with this I have different ones so you don't have to make this matching one.

I will have one more advent calander option there but it's still on progress and a couple cards I decided to not have a gift jar there this time it may be shown another time. Remember it will be every other week, so if you want to show us a craft please sign up I'll have a sign up sheet there. It will be at Steph segos house Oct 7 from 8-10 p.m. These look so cute in person I wish I could take better pictures!! Remember let me know which your interested in so I can take materials there either let me know here or tell me in person!! more to come!!

Snickerdoodles!!

So I absolutely love all my kitchen appliances and well just everything in my kitchen. It's well stocked and I have Alex to thank for that. One thing though haha I don't have cookie sheets!!! I mean I did then we went to Texas and left our pans at a relatives house when we came back to Utah and moved to our home we went to look for the pans and they were GONE!! I just hadn't replaced them cuz I'm not really good with desserts. I've been trying to be though so Alex as a gift gave me some really nice cookie sheets and springform pans. I'm so stoked for them that night I made some snickerdoodle cookies. So I said I wasn't the best at making desserts these turned out good. Usually my cookies don't come out as good. Funny cookies are the hardest thing for me to cook!! someone help!!!!

BELOVED swing!!

I absolutely love our swing!! I think I have stated this before but IDO I DO I DO!! So does Zoey Jane. She has discovered that her swing has flowers on it (which Alex thought they were stars) and she just stares and stares at them. It's so stinkin cute cuz she talks to them and laughs so much She loves them so much.!!

Babysitting and football!!

So Alex decided to hold both of the babies at the same time just to see what it would be like to have 2!! He said "wow that's weird!" We're so excited to have a big family but we're waiting for Zoey Jane to get a tad bigger to start talking about another addition. This is Emmalynn we were babysitting her for our friends while they went on a date together. She was such a delight!! Whenever we can watch her we sure will she was having a blast and so were we!! Alex and I went to Kents market and guess what we found!! FOOTBALL STUFF They had set up a display with actual COCA-COLA packs to spell out touch down we thought it was so cool we couldn't help but take a picture YEAH Kents just because of that we bought from Kents!! funny huh!!

I will post the pictures of them here and products needed so you can bring them and be prepared. If your not interested in actually making a project just come along and we'll have girls night!!! Cards!!

So these are only some of the cards that I have made. All them were made with the cricut and additional embellishments. I can't wait till I can make videos with my cards to show all who want to know how to make some fun cards and scrapbook pages. I love love my cricut and love love to work with paper!!

Additionals

So I found some more pictures I liked from Peytons party with Zoey Jane in it. Here she is with her aunt Shauna!!
Al with eating his BLUE cotton candy he did not want pink which is the first one they made so he had to wait it out till he got his!!
And here I am while baby Zoey took a nap with my pink cotton candy!! yum!!

Happy Happy Birthday to You!!

So I know I am way behind schedule but I remembered I had these pictures. I love the pictures of Peyton in these. Em and Britton (brother and sister in law) came down to have a big birthday party for Peyton she turned one year old and it was way fun she had her first birthday party wahoo!! She got the cutest cake for herself to dig into and one for everyone else!! She also had a cotton candy machine there and that was way fun to have also. I loved and and sure can't wait to throw Baby Zoey a big 1st year party with family and friends also!!
This was Peytons card I made it was done using the paper doll dress up cartridge for the cricut.

This was one of my favorite pictures I got of Peyton she so stinkin cute.

Bath time

I just love love giving Zoey Jane baths!!
She loves them also but she does not like coming out of the bath!! Once she's out she gives us this stare right here and it cracks us up its like a shock of cold!!

Order in the home

I have been watching a show called Hoarders. It's amazing and how terribly sad it is that people let their homes their area of bliss get so messy. Home is were the heart is ... then why not keep it were the heart can live peacefully. Obsession!! no order is against what God wants for us

"Etched in sacred scripture is a commandment to 'set in order thy house' (D&C 93:44). Once we as parents understand the importance and meaning of that commandment, we need to learn how to do it." Russell M. Nelson

It may be hard for some of us to come to realize it and acknowlodge that things are unclean. Parents are the example to their children. What can I do today!!??? first not be lazy. I realize that I can't do everything I want in a day so I set goals and if needs be get up earlier then expected to get the home in order to bring peace to my family as they wake up and of course put God first. I testify that If you put God first in your life and it's the first thing you do in your day things will work out Happiness is were the home is... only if the home is a happy place to be!!
I thank my parents for teaching me to be organized... can you thank yours??

100 books!!

Since last year I have been trying to read 100 books or more and last year I failed terribly, this year I have 3 books read ... JUST 3!! OH no I need to get moving. Oh yes maybe I should mention my year starts every August 7th haha cuz 100 books from now till December wouldn't be doable for me!! I've been debating wether to attend the new class they have for all adults in the stake. I want to go but I"m already taking 2 classes maybe it's not the smartest idea with baby Zoey just yet. I mean who says I can't do it at home!!

I'm stoked!! I decided that when we get our family camara I will start making video projects for spcrapbooking and projects for all that are interested in them. I probably wont be starting them till next year sometime in January but I'm hoping it'll all work were I'll be able to make videos on my projects from cards to home decorations and to answer questions about the Cricut Expressions!! For now I'm just posting up pictures I'll get those posted up oh I don't know if I want to do it on this blog or my actual scrapbooking blog... just the thought of running two blogs makes me feel dizzy!! For now I post it on this one I'll let you all know when my other blog gets running (if I do get it running that is).

Labor Day weekend

Wow it was busy this weekend. Alex and I were talking about how it would have been a nice weekend to relax to since there were 3 days to it!! But we still had fun with family

To be honest it was the drive that drove me crazy and little baby Zoey was no help to it
don't get me wrong she did well to be honest but it was when she wanted to sleep
and we were out and about with family that she scrame her LUNGS out!! It drives me nuts because it's when you want them to behave the most that they just overreact and huff and a puff!!
I love Zoey
So we had the opportunity to witness the ordination of my brother in law it was so great to hear that he is wanting to go further with his ordinations!! We got to see the entire family this week so that was really good. Then we went up to my side of the family's house.
We went up for Onion days. It was way fun to see family and friends and we had an AMAZING Barbeque It was DELICIOUS oh so so DELICIOUS! OH great news
we've been looking at a swing for baby Zoey since before she was born we knew that she would use it and her siblings would too, but it was so expensive!! We went by in Cedar City to check it out again and guess what!!.... IT WAS ON SALE It was actually on CLEARANCE. So we broke down and bought it but we saved that's for sure!!
We got it all set up and it's sooo stinking cute. It plays classical music and nature sounds. It has a timer for when to stop playing the music/swing. It has 6 settings for music and cute flowers for looks. BEST PART PINK AND BROWN!! Of course if we have a baby boy I'll just make a cover that's just as cute!! We also got great news my sister in law is pregnant yeay!! They are expecting their fourth so now we have to family members pregnant and due next year!!
The power of family is amazing. Congrats you 2!!
So another great thing! My aunt was able to tale back 9 generations of mine and she gave me all the updates. I have been looking and looking for some of the missing links and we found them!!
Some of them are missing some work so It's time to get back to the temple.
So to be honest I'm looking around at the messiest house in the planet well I guess not on the planet but it's pretty bad So I get to work on that today!!

The new CRICUT IMAGINE!!

So I am way WAY excited for the new and improved Cricut. Here's some info, I believe (now I could be wrong) but I believe that Cricut and HP got together to make this machine. They have their own cartridges but you can use the cartridges from the cricut machines on it. Oh yes this machine is called.... IMAGINE to be honest when I first saw this machine for CHA video I was like this is just a really expensive printer with a cricut attached to it, but to be honest after watching video on it it's really exciting. So yes it does cost a bit. The Imagine I believe costs $600.00 yep USA DOLLARS So it's just completely expensive for me I can wait or even cut out my own printouts for now. The good thing about this is you can just buy white paper and custimize your pictures to what you want. You can even print out your own paper which to be honest is awesome because how many times do we go out on the lookout for that right paper to match with everything. So for now I will stick with my cricut expressions but I can't imagine that later in the future I may be asking for this for Christmas.... haha WAY WAY later!!

Sick Babies!!

OH goodness so this weekend has been pretty long, I've had a sick husband and a sick baby at home... amazingly I feel GREAT!! I told it to Alex just like that and he just stared back!! Poor babies. So we were having game night at our friends house on Saturday and as I was trying to rock Zoey Jane asleep she threw up all over my left arm which spilled right over my back and poured down my leg and our friends couch of course it got all over her. I felt so bad for Zoey because right when she threw up she just lay there limp blinking and sighed!! Ifelt so bad for her I just wanted to hold her and make her feel better.

I made chicken soup Sunday to help Al get better but as Monday rolled around he just looked pooped out I felt so bad for him so he called into work. Alex and Zoey both slept all day long Sunday and Monday. They were both sniffling together and snoozing it was a sight to see. I'm betting I'll be the sick one soon with me holding both and caring for them which reminds me I need to wash pillow cases and everything else they both touched while sick. Today is looking up for both of them I sure hope they feel better.

On Saturday Peyton had her 1 year old birthday party it went really well, it was fun and such a cute party I'm excited for when Zoey Jane turns one but I can wait!! Which that reminds me Al and I have bought Zoey Jane a couple of Christmas presents early because they were on sale at wal-mart and one that she wont use for a couple of years but I got the leap frog junior, which originally sales for $32.00 at wal-mart, for $5.00 it was a great deal it was also the last one. We got original books to go with it for 3 bucks each which is sweet because they sale for $10.57 originally. I so want to take it out now but decided to wait. I was about to get an elmo live which moves and tells jokes it was so cute but apparently Alex doesn't like Elmo it was 10 bucks which it origanly sold for $60. Since Alex doesn't care for elmo we didn't get it I guess I wont look back...sigh!! I"m excited for Christmas this year Zoey Jane will be 6 months.

3 Adorable Girls

So after camping we decided to take a picture of the 3 little girls so we put them down to try to take a picture. It was the hardest thing to do we tried to get them all preoccupied haha that didn't work out so well maybe we'll get it better when they get little older but for now that's the best we can do!

Spring cleaning so there will be no "Spring Cleaning"

So I have taken on a challenge for awhile now. I have been cleaning a new part of the house depending on the zone that I"m on. You can check it out at hannahkeeley.com anyways so I had to clean out a closet that took a while seeing that it was sucha huge mess. Anyways this week I had to take on the bathroom and I focused on the sink. It was soooo gross!! I took off the faucet knobs and bleached them all I worked on it for a while scrubbed off all that gunk around the faucet phew!!!

Our kitty kat Misay

I have been missing Misay (said Me-sigh Phillipine language for "kitten") so much!! Misay is our beautiful little kitty well she's not so little now. We had Misay for one year before we had to move because of finances and our baby. We're planning to move next year for now Alex's brother is caring for Misay they've had her for almost 4 months and Alex and I miss her terribly. We can't wait to get her back.

She's such a well mannered kitty for a while she went crazy mostly because she wasn't spayed but once we got her spayed she became the angel she is. We tell little Zoey Jane all about the family kitty and show her pictures of Misay all the time.

We miss our kitty kat!!

Fun week

OH my goodness I had a GREAT week. I spent it at my mom's house with my baby girl I missed my husband sooo much and wished he could have been there. He surprised me by showing up on Friday night I have a great husband. So we did soo much I love when my mom cooks it's so great mostly because I get a break from cooking, well and also my mom cooks great.

I got a big change it was so exciting on Thursday I got a haircut a style and highlights in my hair. I haven't done that since my first year in college and missed doing it. I went to Paul mitchels school and it was fantastic. They really pampered me. I had so much fun talking with my stylist that her friend joined in so it was two doing my hair, we were all talkink and just having a great time the entire time. I missed little baby Zoey Jane like so so much, but I told everyone about her. My goodness my hair looks great. I also went shoe shopping because my church shoes have been so worn out I didn't feel proper showing up like that.

OH yeah so there was an excellent sale in roberts 50% off of ANYTHING no exceptions so I was so happy. It only went on for 1 hour morning time so I showed up and ran straight to the cricut cartridges. Seriously all these ladies were around them everyone pushing to get what they wanted. I tried to weasle myself threw without pushing anyone, finally it cleared up for 1 second I ran in and got everything I was interested in then I chose between those. I bought one, the paperdoll cartridge because I have been wanting to make prophet stories for Zoey Jane so she could use them for family home evening. Of course she's too little now but she'll grow up with them. I also thought it would be fun to use them in our lessons when we teach class on sunday if we ever do use them. Either way I want to have them to make paperdolls later.

So if you can tell I was excited about my cricut cartridge. I really had a lot of fun with my sister too we went to the mall a couple times to help her buy some school clothes. We had loads of fun just having girls time but I missed alex too much so I took advantage and bought him a couple shirts. He was excited to have them of course I still don't even know my own husbands shirt sized and got the wrong size so I had to leave them behind so my sister could change them out.

So Saturday we took off to lagoon. It was so fun I hate rollercoasters mostly because of that gut wrenching feeling but it was sooooo much fun to go with Alex and friends. Zoey Jane came along with us and she did so great. My sister and her boyfriend went with so we switched taking turns on rides. I finally went on a faris wheel it was the first time ever I've always wanted to go next time I want to go with just Alex. My favorite ride is Cliff hanger it was boilling hot there and that cooled us down.

On our way up our tire seriously blew up It BLEW. I was so scared we got out to check and the tire blew along with our window washer fluid container I guess it just hit really hard against it. It messed our right light front blinker and it hit our car side so hard that it dented it forward. It really messed things up. We switched it out with our donut so we have yet to fix it. Man we had a long weekend. I'll talk somemore about it later but for now it's a wrap.

I"m off for the week

I'm way excited to spend some time with family this week. I'm heading off today, well actually Al is driving me there then Zoey Jane and I will be hanging out for a while. Zoey Jane got her shots today... oh goodness to see those tears streaming out of her little face when those LONG needles pierced her skin. She fell asleep soon after her daddy was holding her Al just held her and it all seemed just fine. She's so stinkin adorable I mean I hate having her hurt but I know it's good for her to get those shots. Well there all over I sure hope she does good today. I"m out yahoo!!

2nd Smith Campout!!

We had a pretty good time this weekend. Last year we started an annual Smith campout and the turnout was great this year we had a good turnout yet we missed those that weren't there. I decided to make Hobo dinner tonight aka tinfoil dinner. I was so delish next time we'll just put more in cuz it was AMAZING, Al sure loved it he just kept saying "mmm... this is good!!" I also made peach cobbler for this year I wasn't sure if it would come out good because I haven't made it since junior high but it was really good. Even though next year Jody told me that if I put in sprite it mixes it all for me and gives it a sweeter taste (though it was already sweet). Hey it's camping it only happens once in a while!!! I got really nervous though with breakfast. I made yearly at young womens camp, ziplock omelets they were GREAT then and I was soooo nervous they just wouldn't turn out well. It took forever to get the water boiling and going but Alex and I had great omelets next year I'll get up earlier to get the water boiling earlier.

Wow that's a lot of "next years" oh well we all learn!! Oh goodness Zoey Jane well lets not talk aobut the little girl at camping. I'm starting to believe that she is a girl that just loves the pampered life... maybe we're raising her that way... hmm??? No I completely refuse we've taken her camping at such a little age she's going to be an all around girl I guess I as long as we introduce her to all of her options then she'll have the opportunity to say so for herself right??? Well lets hope that works out cuz that's how we plan to raise our kids unless further notice!!!

I was rambling anyways, she had the biggest fits up at the campsite. She kept crying and was extremely picky with who was holding her and how she was being held. Then night time came GOODNESS GRACIOUS she yelled and took turns with the babies. It was kind of funny to hear different tents going off at different times. Poor Celeste, Ben, and Stan.

I had quit a scare this morning I woke up to angry cows. To be honest we all did, I was a bit scared because I wasn't sure if the cows were going to trample threw the tents, (Alex just laughed at that when I told him) I was frightened, I don't think I've ever heard angry cows before. I just heard them everywhere around us calling each other and heard them running. Ok so yeah maybe they wouldn't hurt us but Celestes dog was up there and I wasn't sure he would keep them away. I found out later he's scared of cows, problem solved!!

I'm stoked for our next year campout.

I'M A MOM not JUST a mom!

Lie #5--You don't need to take it so seriously.

Our modern culture feeds us this lie that motherhood and homemaking is just something you do on the side. And we are now seeing firsthand the results of this belief--broken homes, disparate families, failing marriages, and rebellious kids. And at the heart of it all is a mom who thought she didn't need to take it so seriously. I mean, it's not like it's a real career or something. Well, they're right about that. It's not just a career. It's a calling. When God called you to be a mom, He wasn't kidding around. I'm ready to tell you this is NOT a job to be taken lightly. This is a career that requires every bit of you and more. It is something you do with your whole heart. Stop believing the lies that our culture feeds us. See through the methods our media uses to discredit motherhood. Do it now before you waste another moment living with less than the best. The world keeps telling moms to do just enough to get by. But God sets a higher standard. He demands excellence. Motherhood is an eternal investment. You may not be able to see it now, but when you give it your all, when you approach this profession with the respect it deserves, when you stand up tall and profess loudly, "Yes! I AM a mom!" then, and only then, will you see the blessings of this consecrated career unfold before you.

Learning to "kick some butt"

My family came over last week Thursday and Friday, it was soooo great to have them over they helped around the home and we watched a couple movies played games and had great food! On Thursday my sister and I went to a class that taught us to defend ourselfs if ever needs be. My sister and i were able to beat some people up and each other it was fun to learn some techniques. I'm so stoked to be able to teach Zoey Jane how to defend herself if she ever needs to. I thought about going home and practicing them on Alex... but I decided to not put him threw agony!! haha no it was fun though and I got a good work out. We then switched roles and Al was able to go play some basketball we really enjoyed being able to go out for a bit.

It was fun having family over this weekend. Alex's brother and sister in law with his sister came over to hang out on Saturday. We played card games all day then had stir fry and cheesticks with lettace it was so great. It was relaxing. I also didn't get anything done. So it drives me nuts cuz I keep setting guidlines for myself for everything and I seem not to follow threw some of the more important ones like cleanin our home on certain days doing certain things.

So we discovered little Zoey Jane LOVE LOVE LOVES the baby swing which is FANTASTIC it gives me a break and of course a break for Al too.

Family home evening was great today too, we talked about some goals and its just so rejuvinating to set some goals to help our lives keep going and feel like we have something that we are reaching for the better of our family.

A Great Week!

I've got a couple firsts of Zoey Jane's that I want to log!!

July 22nd: Zoey Jane began to smile as her response to us talking and playing with her. It was soooo amazing that I was just playing with her early morning and everytime I did a funny face to her she would respond with an adorable cue and a smile!! It's soooo exciting!

July 23rd: Zoey Jane finally laughed when we tickled her feet oh those cute little itsy bitsy toes!

July 25th : Zoey Jane copies her daddy when he made a few funny noises with his mouth. It was so stinken adorable to see her watch his lips and try to copy the noises!!

It hasn't been all laughs I mean she has been having a few fussy days with an upset tummy and I figure chocolate is the the evil in my life now.... So sad cuz I've been wanting some caramel filled chocolate. Sweets and sugars don't make everything nice especially for little Zoey Jane.

We were able to spend sometime with friends at a BBQ on the 23rd of July and I gotta say little Zoey Jane looked like an adorable little cherry. She was so stinkin cute. We where able to hang out with friends and meet up with everyone at the beautiful Sego's house and of course BBQ. We played outburst, catch phrase and Mafia, it was so fun to hang out and Zoey of course threw a bit of a fit here and there but we finally figured out... or I should say Al figured out that she was cold. Once we swaddled her up in a blanket and held her close to daddy she slept so peacefully. It was great to see friends and family.

So I'm just so excited that our little girl is growing up, I mean I'm so happy that I have her and I"ve been trying to enjoy every time with her but it's the best feeling when Zoey Jane responds to our voice or when we are playing around. It was very exciting a few days ago I believe wednesday of last week, I was playing with Zoey Jane with her teddy bear her daddy got her. I set her teddy bear next to her and Zoey Jane's eyes opened up so big smiled and gave a big coo. She then followed the bear with her eyes it was so exciting.

Alex and I had a privilage to bless our little girl on the 4th of July It was such a blessing. That day was an amazing day. Alex and I gained a huge testimony of baby blessings. It's also such a huge blessing to have a husband that has lived a worthy life and has the power to bless little Zoey Jane.

I was also excited to say that I made Zoey Jane's baby dress. I had always dreamed of the baby dress for our little girl being long and just so cute. It was an exciting challenge to accomplish, it came out really good! I was a bit hesitant of the material being too shiny but it looked really good at the end, thanks to Al who by the way did help out with it!!

4th of July

Goodness gracious so is it normal to hear ringing in your ears all the time! zoey has been so fussy last night and today its probably got something to do with me not following her schedule...(I guess thats entirely my fault. I've just wanted to be lazy today and it doesnt pay off with a baby or atleast with mine! Oh well we've all gotta learn.

Along with that, I have discovered if I set the monthly Ensign next to the rocking chair for the night, I handle stress better threw out the entire night and early morning. now I've got a better appreciation for the Ensign magazine! I guess its the spirit that is humbling me down and helping me with patience while Zoey Jane screams in my ear! Poor baby!!

ALRIGHT so i'm playing catchup... Our 4th of July was really good. We where able to see a ton of family and my friends I havent seen since highschool. One of wich is an amazing dancer. He put on a Micheal Jackson performance and even threw all the years he's still great. I was also able to see their cute little kids (my have they grown)!
We spent the day with family and Zoey was in a great mood thankfully. We watched fireworks with family and friends also. It was nice to spend a long weekend with the fam, here are some pics of our 4th of July!

Ok so today has been exceptionally well with little Zoey Jane, I couldn't say the same thing for last night!!! Zoey Jane has been following her eating schedule very well (since she's the one who set it we just followed along with it and kept it). We also decided we would start setting a specific nap time where she would sleep in her crib so maybe that way we can start getting her used to being in her room alone and not sleeping with mom and dad in our room. She did really good with her nap and now we're going to start with bed time!! it's so exciting really I know it sounds funny, but today when I set her down for her nap I felt like I had things under control that because life was running with organization I was able to do things that I haven't for awhile.
I was able to make dinner clean the kitchen very well and have some me time then baby Zoey woke up and I was refreshed and able to move along with our day. I know that things wont always work that way and where we'll just have to improvise on others but as long as the root is there I'm sure things will work out for the better. I also feel that when things get hectic is the days we don't have order (and nights).
It's nice to be able to have some me time also in the evening, Al gets his own time with the baby while I'm able to spend it online for a bit it's so nice.

Big news: Zoey Jane's first Diaper Change, she changed from her newborn diapers to 1's this morning/middle of the night!!! It's so exciting our little girl is growing up and she's so stinkin cute (no punn intended). I"m just so excited but of course I'm enjoying every moment now cuz i've heard that they just grow up so fast and I don't want to miss a minute of it!!

A Weekend Away

We had a really awesome weekend. Alex, Zoey Jane and I where all able to go up north to Alex's best friends wedding. It was great to go into the South Jordan Temple it's so beautiful. Thanks to my sister and her boyfriend we where able to go inside to witness the marriage. We then spent it up north hanging out watching a movie at The District was pretty awesome... it's HUGE!! It's a movie theater that is just outstanding, did I already say, it's HUGE!!! We spent the night at my mom's place and it was just so fun to have a relaxing weekend. We finally where able to go to the 3 hour block of church since we've had Zoey Jane but man she was a little punk today. Of course I have an amazing husband that is more than willing to watch her. I guess I'm still getting over the being embarrassed of your child yelling and people staring at you, but I guess from now on that's how it's going to be... what are kids for!!

A new blogger....(Again!!!)

So is it funny to say im blogging one handed, I mean if I had a choice I would set Zoey Jane down but risk her yelling till Al gets home... not a chance!!! I wonder how many mom's out there blog one handed for one reason or another.
I've always wanted to have a constant blog I tried to do a scrapbooking one and am still going to continue I guess I really have no excuse for not doing a blog.
So i've been a mom for 3 weeks now and its had its ups and downs im sure im in for it and many of u moms r probably chuckling saying "good luck " but hey thats why im here i neede a support system! Today hasnt been too tough Zoey Jane's cries are becoming a constant tune in my ears, no really!! we're trying to keep things steady though Just when I feel like I'm getting used to my sleep patterns I find myself struggling to get up. Its not as bad as I thought it would be though (knock on wood). phew Al is almost home!
